The Procedure

First Appointment: The dentist will take an impression of your upper jaw to fabricate a palate stent.

Second Appointment: It’s time for your gum graft. After local anesthesia, the dentist prepares the gum.

• Stitches are made to put the new graft in place.
• You then receive postoperative instructions from your dentist.
• You will come back to the dental clinic in Laval, 7 to 14 days later to remove sutures and follow up your gum graft.
