The crown is a “hat” in the shape of a tooth that completely covers the decayed or damaged tooth. The dentist prepares  and shapes some of the natural tooth to make room for the crown. The crown protects the tooth and restores its original color and shape.

Traditional dental crowns are made of several materials. Crowns made of porcelain fused with zirconium are as aesthetic as they are strong, which is why we often offer them to our patients. Crowns made of metal-fused porcelain are usually made on dental implants. Crowns made of ceramic only are most aesthetic. The crowns in our clinic are manufactured locally in our on-site laboratory specializing in ceramics and porcelain, with an experienced technician, or using our CEREC technology.
