Root Canal Therapy

Most root canal treatments are performed in a single visit. After treatment, the tooth will remain fragile and at risk of fracture. A dental crown or bridge will therefore be suggested.
Procedure
- The dentist cleans your infected tooth using vibrations and an antibacterial agent.
- Several X-rays will be taken during the procedure to ensure complete disinfection.
- Once the tooth is disinfected, the dentist fills the canals with a special material.
- Finally, the dentist restores your tooth with a crown or bridge, or temporarily with a filling.
